  • Hot Water hot filtered water between a temperature of 210F-180F, depending on the type of tea. Best to use a thermometer to get exact temperature of water.
  • Tea Pot your preferred tea brewing equipment or infuser with a tea strainer. The ones below are the ones we recommend.

Step 1 Place 1 tsp of loose leaf tea in a tea dispenser, then add 0.5 oz of hot water. Swirl it around to remove any impurities from the tea, then discard the water.

Step 2 Add 8oz of hot water and steep the tea according to the steeping times and water temperature below.

⏲️ Steeping Time

  • Black Tea – water temp at 210F and steep for 4-5 minutes
  • Pu-Erh Tea – water temp at 200F and steep for 3-5 minutes
  • Oolong – water temp at 200F and steep for 3-4 minutes
  • Green Tea water temp at 190F and steep for 3 minutes
  • White Tea – water temp at 180F and steep for 2-3 minutes
  • Herbal Tea – water temp at 210F and steep for 6-7 minutes

  • 1 tsp Loose Tea Leaves

  • Gather all the ingredients.

  • Place 1 tsp of loose tea leave into your teapot. Take a very small amount of hot water (about 0.5oz), mix it around the teapot for about 5 seconds and then dispose of the water. This is to clean the tea leaves from any unwanted residue.

  • Next, take your 8 oz of your boiling water and wait for the temp to adjust to the type of tea you're brewing. Once target temp is reached, pour it in your teapot and let it steep according to chart above.

  • Once tea is finished steeping, pour into a serving cup and enjoy! Note - you can steep the same leaves 2 or 3 times, but each subsequent steep will have less flavor.
