I make my ginger tea a little different becuase I LOVE the taste of ginger. About a quarter ounce peeled and grated fliis my strainer. I will add the bulk, that is the leftover strain as well and sometimes a couple of tea bags, green or black. My brewer will bring to a boil and auto turn off after about twenty seconds of boil.Let it steep over night, refridgerate and reheat in same brewer for mix in pancakes, oatmeal or by itself. For real strong brew, leave un peeled over night before grating. ENJOY !
Hi – sounds interesting, might give it a try next time!
My method is slightly different.
Boil water and fill cup to level. Transfer to NutriBullet cup and add knob of ginger unpeeled to taste. Blitz and undo cap. I then pour back into cup via a strainer.
I have also added a small piece of turmeric with a pinch of black pepper to activate, and now my NutriBullet cup is golden,
Hi – that way works too.
