Directions
Step 1 Start by preparing the dry rub mixture in a large bowl that consists of sweetener, garlic powder, salt and black pepper.
Step 2 Next, pat rub a generous amount of the rub onto the pork belly, place in a single layer in the air fryer basket and air fry at 360F for 16-18 minutes until golden brown.
🌡 Internal Temperature Check
Monitor the internal temperature of the pork belly center, aiming for a temperature of 145°F for safe consumption.
💡 Air Frying Pro Tip
Consider covering the pork belly with a Lid or Cover during cooking to Prevent any potential Splattering. This helps maintain cleanliness and reduces the risk of mess in the air fryer.
Step 3 Once cooked, use a sharp knife to slice the pork belly and top with fresh chopped scallions.
🍽️ Pro Serving Tip
Allow the cooked pork belly to Rest for a Few Minutes before slicing and serving. This allows the juices to redistribute, resulting in a more flavorful and tender final dish.
Pairing Recommendations
To complement this dish, consider serving it alongside a salad dressed with Caesar Dressing or Broccoli Caesar Salad. The crisp greens and rich dressing will pair well with the main course. Alternatively, opt for a Creamy Chicken Soup or Creamy Ground Beef Stew. These hearty soups will add depth to the meal, providing a satisfying contrast.

HI guys, your recipes are great!
How crispy does the skin come up on this recipe?
Hi Tony! Thank you very much for your kinds words! On our air fryer, they came out pretty crispy. I would say like a 7 on a scale of 10. If you want them crispier, you can fry them longer, but the trade-off is that the meat itself it going to become harder (overcooked) as well.
