Just like my popular Cream Cheese Foam Green Tea, this drink inspired by the drink found at boba shops and features layers of luscious strawberry sauce, creamy milk, and earthy matcha, resulting in a refreshing and indulgent flavor profile! We achieve this by layering the same strawberry concoction from my Strawberry Milk Tea recipe and topping it with an Iced Matcha Latte!

  • Strawberries Puree –  de-stemmed and pureed in the food processor. Choose from fresh or frozen strawberries. The more ripe the strawberries are, the sweeter your puree will be but you can also adjust the sweetener to your liking. Other methods of preparing the strawberry mixture can be using a masher or a fork to mash the strawberries or using a blender.
  • Sweetener – use your preferred sweetener.
  • Matcha Powder – green tea leaves that have been ground into a powder. Culinary grade Matcha Powder will work for this recipe but you can also use ceremonial grade premium matcha if preferred. 
  • Milk – can also use your choice of milk or milk alternative. Coconut Milk, Almond Milk, soy milk, oat milk etc.
  • Heavy Cream (optional) – heavy cream or heavy whipping cream.

For milk substitutions, several alternatives can maintain a dairy-free, and vegan. Options include Almond Milk, Soy Milk, Oat Milk, and Coconut Milk, each offering distinct flavors and textures to suit your preferences and dietary needs.

Additional Add Ins
