Directions
Step 1 In a small skillet, combine your chosen sweetener and water to prepare simple syrup.
Step 2 Next, in a mixing bowl, blend the simple syrup with grated garlic, salt, olive oil, cayenne pepper, lime zest, lemon juice and then toss in your chicken wings.
Step 3 Arrange these coated wings on a baking sheet or tray and bake them at 500°F for approximately 20 minutes in the center of your oven, ensuring you rotate them halfway through.
🌡 Internal Temperature Check
Check the internal temperature for the wings reaches 165°F in the center to ensure they are thoroughly cooked and safe to eat.
🍗 Browing Pro Tip
To achieve extra browning, Move the Tray 6-8 inches away from the heating element after the initial 20 minutes and Broil for 1-3 Minutes on each side until golden brown.
💡 Garnishing Pro Tip
For a fresh pop of color and flavor, garnish with Chopped Green Onions or Cilantro.
Recipe Variations
For a different flavor profile, try using a Japanese-style sake marinade instead of the chili and lime coating for my Tebasaki Chicken Wings, following the same baking technique.
Pairing Recommendations
