Why I Love This Recipe

My Shrimp Cocktail recipe is a fantastic appetizer that blends classic flavors with a touch of Asian Fusion. Just like in my Japanese Style Shrimp with Spicy Miso Sauce dish, the star of the show is the poached shrimp using my fail proof technique, making it a quick and easy dish to prepare! What makes this recipe truly special is the delightful combination of flavors I arranged for the cocktail sauce, tangy ketchup, zesty garlic, spicy Sriracha, and the subtle heat of wasabi come together perfectly!

It’s a great choice for seafood enthusiasts looking to add a flavorful kick to their appetizer. Just like my other crowd-pleasers, such as Smoked Salmon Carpaccio and Dynamite Seafood Shrimp, this dish excels in both taste and presentation. Whether you’re hosting a dinner party or simply indulging yourself, this is a must-try recipe that will have everyone coming back for more!

🍲 Cooking Pro Tip

Avoid Overcooking shrimp; once they turn pink, they’re done. Overcooking harms their texture.

Step 4 Transfer the shrimp to a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process, then dry and place them in a serving cup. Keep in the fridge until ready to serve.
