  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 1/8 tsp Salt
  • 8 oz Sour Cream 1 cup
  • 2 Cloves Garlic
  • 4 tbsp Mayo
  • 1 Stalk Green Onion

Instructions

  • Gather all the ingredients.

  • Finely dice onions.
    Chopped onions.
  • In a medium fry pan, add olive oil and chopped onions. Cook on medium heat until fragrant, about 2-3 minutes.

  • After 30 seconds has passed, add butter and lower heat to medium low. Sprinkle salt and mix together. Cook for 15 minutes to caramelize onions mixing occasionally.

  • In the meantime, finely mince garlic and chop green onion and set aside.

  • After 15 minutes have passed, combine garlic into a medium fry pan with caramelized onion. Stir well and cook for 5 more minutes.

  • After 5 minutes, transfer caramelized garlic onion to a bowl and place inside a freezer for 5 minutes (to cool-down).
