Why I Love This Recipe

I absolutely love my Brussels Sprout Stir Fry recipe because it’s my unique creation, bringing together the earthy goodness of brussels sprout with the irresistible charm of Japanese stir-fry! It’s a delightful fusion where I take a popular Western vegetable like brussels sprout and infuse it with the bold flavors of Asian-style stir-fry sauce, much like my beloved Spicy Garlic Sauteed Brussels Sprout!

I start by cooking bacon to perfection, harnessing its flavorful oil to stir-fry the brussels sprouts and craft a mouthwatering sauce, reminiscent of the magic in my Japanese Shishito Pepper Stir Fry dish. The outcome is a blend of tender brussels sprout, enveloped in a sweet and savory sauce, all accentuated by the smokiness of bacon!

This recipe is the ultimate side dish, capable of elevating any meal, and it’s a must-try for anyone seeking a straightforward way to savor brussels sprout with a burst of fusion flavors. So, why wait? Let’s dive into this recipe and relish it right away!

Sauce Shortcut

For a shortcut, use Hondashi instead of bonito flakes to prepare the stir fry sauce. This substitution eliminates the need to strain the sauce.

Step 2 In the meantime, cook bacon to preferred tenderness and set it aside.
