Ingredients
Ingredients

- Avocado – ripe avocado halved.

- Soy Sauce – low-sodium Soy Sauce preferred. Can also use tamari for gluten-free.
- Toasted Sesame Seeds – optional garnish.
🥑 Avocado Ripening Pro Tip
For a quick ripening of your avocado, pop it in a Paper Bag alongside a Banana or Apple. These fruits release ethylene gas, expediting the ripening process.
Directions
Step 1 Start by combining green onions, mayonnaise, and soy sauce with crab meat.
Step 2 Carefully add diced avocado to the mixture, stirring gently to avoid mashing the avocado and place mix inside avocado shell.
🍽️ Alternate Serving Method
An alternate serving method for this recipe is to De-Seed the Avocado and Place the Crab Mix in the Pit. This allows you to scoop pieces of the avocado out along with the crab mix, providing a convenient and flavorful way to enjoy the dish.
🌿 Garnishing Pro Tip
Sprinkle optional Toasted Sesame Seeds on top.
Recipe Variations
Easily switch out the crab mix for a tuna mix to create my Tuna Salad Avocado Bowl. For a sushi-inspired option, try my Spicy Tuna Avocado Bowl. Each variation offers a unique take on the classic avocado bowl!
Pairing Recommendations
While my avocado bowl stands as a delightful light meal on its own, it pairs wonderfully with other healthy options such as my Ground Beef & Mushroom Endive or a side of Garlic Truffle Edamame.
