Spicy Garlic Pan Fried Chicken

Ingredients

Chicken

  • 1/2 lb Chicken Thigh can sub with chicken breast
  • 1 tbsp Cooking Oil neutral, no flavor or taste
  • 3/8 tsp Salt about 75% of 1/2 tsp
  • 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Cayenne Pepper
  • 1 Stalk Green Onions

Fried Garlic

  • 3 Clove Garlic
  • 1/2 tbsp Cooking Oil neutral, no flavor or taste

Instructions

  • Gather all the ingredients.

  • Mince garlic and set aside.
    Minced garlic.
  • Chop green onions and set aside.

  • Cut chicken into bite-size cubes and add it into a mixing bowl.

  • In another small mixing bowl, mix together salt, black pepper, garlic powder, cayenne pepper and then toss seasoning into the chicken.

  • In a large fry pan, add 1/2 tbsp of cooking oil and minced garlic on medium heat. Cook the garlic until light golden brown, which will take about 90-120 seconds. Once done, use a slotted spatula to remove only the garlic and set aside.

  • Using the same fry pan, add 1 tbsp of cooking oil and bring up to temp on high heat. Once up to temp, reduce heat to medium-high, add in chicken and cook for 4-5 minutes while occasionally stirring or until chicken is browned.

  • Once the chicken is done, use a slotted spatula to transfer the chicken to a serving plate. Sprinkle on crispy minced garlic and chopped green onions.
