Ingredients
1/2lbsPork thinly sliced butt/shoulderÂ
1/4CupSliced Onions
1tbspCooking Oilneutral, no flavor or taste
2tbspSoy Sauce
2tbspJapanese Sake
1tbspSweeteneryour preferred sweetener
1CloveGarlic
1/4tspTogarashican replace with red pepper
1tspToasted Sesame Oil
1Stalk Green Onions
1/2tspToasted Sesame Seedoptional
Instructions
Gather all the ingredients.
Slice onions and chop green onions as shown below.
Grate garlic with a grater and place it into a small mixing bowl. Add in soy sauce, Japanese sake, sweetener, togarashi, toasted sesame oil and mix until well combined.
In a large frying pan or wok, add neutral cooking oil and bring up to temp on medium heat. Add in sliced onions and cook for 1-2 until slightly softened.
Next, bump heat up to medium-high, add in thinly sliced pork and cook for 2-3 minutes until meat is browned as shown below.
Add in the sauce from step 3), cook for 30-45 seconds and then transfer to a serving plate. Top with green onions, optional toasted sesame seed and enjoy hot!
