Instructions
Gather all the ingredients.
Lightly season top sirloin steak with salt and black pepper and set aside.
Slice red bell pepper and onions and set aside.
In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, black pepper, garlic powder, sweetener, and chicken broth.
In a large skillet or wok, add 1 tbsp of neutral cooking oil and bring up to temp on high heat. Once up to temp add sliced onions and red bell peppers. Cook until tender to liking, around 2-4 minutes. Transfer to a holding bowl once done.
In a cast iron pan or large skillet, add 1 tbsp of cooking oil and bring up to temp. Add in top sirloin steaks and sear for 1.5 minutes per side for medium rare and 2 minutes per side for medium. Note - time will vary depending on thickness.
Add back the cooked vegetables and pour the black pepper sauce over steak. Cook and mix for 10-15 seconds and transfer to a serving plate. Top with optional toasted sesame seeds.
