3tbspSweeteneryour preferred sweetener
1tspSalt
1tspBlack Pepper
2tspGarlic Powder
2tbspSoy Sauce
1tbspWorcestershire Sauce
1tspLiquid Smoke
Instructions
Gather all the ingredients.
In a mixing bowl, combine the sweetener, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. In a separate bowl, stir together the soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and liquid smoke.
Add the ground beef to another bowl, then mix in half of the dry and wet ingredients. Once well combined, add the remaining half and continue mixing until fully incorporated.
Fill the jerky gun with the beef mixture and shape the jerky into strips on a baking rack. Place the rack on a baking pan to catch any drippings from the dehydrating process.
Bake at 300°F for 10 minutes, then open the oven door slightly to allow moisture to escape. Reduce the oven temperature to 170°F and continue dehydrating for 2.5 hours with the door ajar.
