Bacon Wrapped Asparagus

Ingredients

  • 3 Slices Bacon
  • 4-5 Stalks Asparagus
  • 12 Toothpicks
  • 2 Cloves Garlic
  • 1 tbsp Cooking Oil neutral, no flavor or taste
  • 12 Drops Sriracha

Instructions

  • Gather all the ingredients.

  • Preheat oven to 450F.
    Oven preheating.
  • Cut bacon vertically into 4 equal parts. You should end up with roughly twelve 2" bacon slices.

  • Cut asparagus into 2 inch lengths.
    Chopped asparagus.
  • Place 2-4 pieces of asparagus onto the bacon piece and roll up asparagus with bacon. Once rolled, place a toothpick through the asparagus to maintain shape throughout cooking (try to keep the conjoining point on the bottom to help maintain shape).

  • Place bacon on silicon baking mat (or oil coated aluminum foil) and bake for 10-14 minutes.

  • Thinly slice 12 slices of garlic cloves. In a small fry pan, add oil and garlic on medium heat. Cook until browned on both sides (about 2-3 minutes) and transfer to a holding bowl.

  • Once bacon is baked, remove toothpicks and transfer to a serving plate. Top with a drop of sriracha and fried garlic.
