2/3CupJapanese Sakecan substitute with dry sherry wine or Chinese cooking wine
1/3CupSweeteneryour preferred sweetener
1/3CupSoy Sauce
3/8tspXanthan Gumor thickener of choice
Instructions
Gather all the ingredients.
In a saucepan, add Japanese sake, sweetener, soy Sauce, thickener and bring to a boil. Once boiling, reduce heat to med-low heat and let it cook for 2 minutes while continuously mixing to ensure thickener dissolves. Once 2 minutes have passed, remove from heat and set aside to cool.
Once cooled, transfer to the sauce dispenser of choice. Note - the sauce will continue to thicken over time.
