Ingredients
Mahi Mahi
8ozMahi Mahiabout 2 fillets
1tbspCoconut Flouror flour of choice
1tbspCooking Oilneutral, no taste
2 tbsp Macadamia Nuts
1Stalk Green Onions
Sauce
2tbspWater
1tbspSweeteneryour preferred sweetener
1tspSriracha
1/2tbspKetchup
1/4tspGarlic Powder
1/8tspXanthan Gumor thickener of choice
Instructions
Gather all the ingredients.
In a sauce pan, combine water, sweetener, sriracha, ketchup,garlic powder, and bring to a soft boil. Mix in thickener of choice, whisk until dissolved and transfer to a bowl.
Add roasted macadamia nuts into a food processor and pulse until finely chopped and set aside.
Finely chop green onions and set aside.
Pat both sides of the mahi-mahi fillets dry with a paper towel and then sprinkle coconut flour on both sides. Set aside once done.
Add neutral oil to a large frying pan and bring up to temp. Once up to temp, carefully add mahi-mahi fillets. Cover and cook for 1-2 minutes per side and then transfer to a serving plate.
Sprinkle on crushed roasted macadamia nuts and green onions on top. Drizzle sauce to liking.
