  • 1 1/2 lb Pork Belly
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 2 tbsp Japanese Sake can replace with dry sherry or Chinese cooking wine
  • 2 Cups Water
  • 2 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 1 Clove Garlic grated
  • 1/4 tsp Chili Oil
  • 1/2 Stalk Green Onion

  • Sprinkle salt on all sides of the pork belly.

  • In a large pot, combine water with Japanese sake or Chinese cooking wine, and bring the mixture to a boil. Then, place the pork belly on a steaming rack and carefully lower it into the pot. Cover the pot and steam the pork belly for 25-30 minutes under medium heat.
