Ingredients

Stir Fry

  • 2 Steak 1/2 inch thick ribeye, NY fillet or top sirloin
  • 1/8 tsp Salt
  • 1/8 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 tbsp Cooking Oil neutral, no flavor or taste
  • 1/4 Cup Onions sliced
  • 1/4 Cup Bell Peppers sliced
  • 1/2 Stalk Green Onions
  • 1/4 tsp Toasted Sesame Seeds optional garnish

Sauce

  • 1/2 tbsp Butter melted
  • 1 Clove Garlic
  • 1 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Japanese Sake
  • 1 tsp Sweetener your preferred sweetener
  • 1/4 tsp Black Pepper

Instructions

  • Gather all the ingredients.

  • Slice steak and season with salt and black pepper.

  • Slice onions, bell peppers and chop green onions.

  • Combine melted butter, soy sauce, Japanese sake, sweetener, grated garlic, and black pepper in a mixing bowl.

  • Heat a wok or large skillet with oil under high heat. Once the oil is preheated, add sliced onions and bell peppers, cooking them for 1-2 minutes until they are softened.

  • Place the thinly sliced steak into the pan and cook it for 1-2 minutes until the outside of the steak is browned.

  • Pour in the sauce, stir well to coat, and cook for another 30-45 seconds. Then, plate the stir-fry and garnish with chopped green onions and optional toasted sesame seeds before serving.
