Ingredients

Stir Fry

  • 1/3 lbs Thinly Sliced Pork Butt/Shoulder about 1/8 inch thickness
  • 1 Cup Bean Sprouts
  • 1/3 Cup Green Beans chopped
  • 1 tbsp Cooking Oil      neutral, no flavor or taste
  • 1/8 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Toasted Sesame Seeds

Sauce

  • 2 Clove Garlic
  • 1 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Japanese Sake
  • 2 tsp Sweetener your preferred sweetener
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper

Instructions

  • Gather all the ingredients.
    Ingredients gathered to make Japanese style pork stir fry.
  • Thoroughly wash bean sprouts, chop green beans and use a grater or garlic press to grate garlic.
    Vegetables washed and prepared for use in pork stir fry recipe.
  • Combine grated garlic, soy sauce, Japanese sake, sweetener, and black pepper in a mixing bowl and set aside.

  • In a wok or frying pan, add 1 tbsp of neutral oil on high heat. Once the oil is up to temp, add bean sprouts and chopped green beans. Stir and cook until tender, around 2-4 minutes.

  • Add in sliced pork, sprinkle in salt and cook until browned, around 2-3 minutes. Pour stir fry sauce in and cook for an additional 15-30 seconds. Transfer to a serving plate and garnish with toasted sesame seeds.
