Bacon Wrapped Enoki Yakitori

Ingredients

  • 6 Bacon thin sliced
  • 7 oz Enoki Mushroom
  • 1/2 tbsp White Pepper
  • 1 Stalk Green Onions
  • Toothpicks

Instructions

  • Gather all the ingredients.

  • Preheat oven to 425F.
    Oven being preheated.
  • Prepare enoki mushrooms by cutting off 1 inch of the bottom and discarding (this will get rid of the dirt). Wash enoki mushroom with water while trying to break apart the mushrooms. Squeeze out any excess water with your hands, lightly sprinkle with some white pepper and set aside.

  • Cut bacon slices into 1/3 as shown below.

  • Take a slice of bacon and add a pinch of enoki mushrooms on the bottom of the bacon as shown. Roll bacon upwards to form a roll, place a toothpick to hold bacon in place, and transfer to a silicone baking mat.

  • Transfer the bacon wrapped enoki into the oven and bake for 10-12 minutes or until bacon is browned and crisped.

  • Once bacon wrapped enoki are done, remove toothpicks and top with chopped green onions.
